Bulk Billed Eye Tests
If you are an Australian resident with a current Medicare card, your Eye Tests are at no additional cost to you once every 2 years. Just remember to bring along your Medicare card and we’ll bulk bill Medicare directly.

Contact Lens Fitting
If you're thinking about getting contacts but find starting a bit daunting, stop by and see your local BLINK Optical team. We’ll happily give you free instruction and an in-store trial. You'll get all the best advice, tips and information about how you can benefit from the correct type of lenses.
Visual Field Testing
Visual Field Machines are available in most BLINK Optical stores. The machines map the level of peripheral vision that a patient has and compare it to age-determined values - invaluable in diagnosing and monitoring glaucoma and understanding the health of your eyes. Contact your local store to see if Visual Field Testing is available.
Digital Retinal Imaging
Available at selected stores, this technology lets us examine the optic nerve, macula, retina and blood vessels in precise detail. And, although it sounds space age, the digital image produced is an invaluable diagnostic tool that also allows accurate record keeping so we can monitor any changes in your eyes. This is a great tool for eye conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and changes that are associated with high blood pressure.
