All people should have a periodic eye test as part of their health care.

Eye tests may detect potentially treatable eye diseases and conditions. At BLINK your comprehensive eye test will take approximately 30 minutes including:

During the eye test, both the front of your eye (the cornea, conjunctiva, iris lens and lids), and the inside of your eye (lens, retinal blood vessels and optic nerve head) will be inspected for any sign of problems, such as cataract or glaucoma
, or other diseases such as high blood pressure or diabetes. If signs of any such problems are present, your optometrist will refer you to an eye specialist (ophthalmologist), or a general practitioner.
In some individuals further tests are recommended and performed by the optometrist. You will usually be required to return on a different day for these additional tests:
- Dilated Fundus Examination
- Digital Visual Field Perimetry
- Digital Photography
- Sports Vision Assessment
- Perceptual Testing

Some people tried contact lenses in the past but without any success. That’s because of certain condition that made contact lenses really unconfortable. In the meantime technology changed and now it is possible that new contact lenses may be suitable for those people.
- An eye health consultation is usually performed when something unusual come out in the routine eye test. In some cases this eye test can be performed using a visual field machine or using a digital camera, which shows the back of your eye.
